Lindsey Brannan

Lindsey Brannan has been teaching pilates since 2005.

She was trained and certified originally by Wendy Leblanc-Arbuckle and her (now retired) 3Core Connections® Pilates Teacher Training Program. In addition, Lindsey is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT). She has held this accreditation since 2009 (formerly known as PMA-Certified Pilates Teacher) and continues to maintain and renew this certification biannually, by attending various workshops and conferences held by industry leaders and innovators. Lindsey thoroughly enjoys learning new skills to bring into the studio, as well as staying up to date on the latest research in the industry.

She was first introduced to pilates in 1998 when it became part of the repertoire while studying at the School of Nashville Ballet. After an injury in 2000, that ended Lindsey’s dance career, pilates took on a new purpose. It was not only to help build strength, but also to help give her the tools needed to heal her own body. Now she enjoys teaching others how to help themselves to live a pain free life.

Lindsey’s approach blends both classical and contemporary pilates. She teaches the pilates method with a focus on whole body integration. She feels it is important to teach people that it is not just about the movement itself, but how the movement is executed. In turn, this helps her clients build body awareness and healthy movement patterns.

Teaching the body new and effective ways to move can absolutely change someone’s life. Whether it is for rehabilitation, old injuries, chronic pain, an athlete looking to improve their performance, or someone just looking to improve their quality of life, pilates can help!

Specialties: Rehabilitation for new, old, or existing injuries
